Dear America
Emma was a teacher when the Dunblane Shooting in Scotland happened. Like many people, she remembers the day vividly. Her poem, Dear America, was written in response to the Parkland shooting in Florida. The poem was heard by the editor from Bombay Literary Magazine who immediately asked for the rights to publish it. You can read the poem here, or click on the image to hear Emma read it on SoundCloud. |
